I’ve recently changed my email address. Just received one of the “information” emails at my old address. Went to log into AVAST with the old email address to change it…only the site didn’t recognize my old address! WHAT??? They just sent an email to my old address but don’t recognize me when I use it to try and contact them to change it.
Well, I did that a couple of days ago. I added my new address and made it my primary address…then I deleted the old address. But yesterday I received a message from AVAST on my old account…after changing the address in my file. That’s why I’m asking how to get it changed so it works. ??? Could it just be the site needed more than just a few days to “forget” the old address?
It wasn’t anything personal…just some kind of generic notification of information. But what bothered me was I’d changed my email address and this went to my old address. Then when I attempted to log into my account, the site wouldn’t let me log in with my old emails address…even though they’d JUST sent an email there.
I think rather than bother all of you with it is just to sit a wait and see if it happens again. Then I’ll ask for help.
