I changed my email in Avast but the email in the forums remains the same. Maybe someone knows how to change the email in the forum?
The email address for the Avast Community doesn’t necessarily need to be the same.
If you log on to your Avast Account from your existing installation, right click on the Avast Tray icon and select Registration Information.
When that window opens click the Go To Account. Is the email that appears there the same ?
The avast password is not the same as the forum password. How do I change the forum password?
You reply is asking something different to your original post about changing the email address.
I don’t see anything in the Community Forum Settings to change the password directly.
You could log out and try to log in again it would ask for the password again.
Now this is a guess when you try to log back in again. I would expect it would cater for I have forgotten the password to be sent an email (to you are the user with that email address) with a means of doing that.
