Changed PC computer name. how to change name in Avast! Pro

I have changed the name of my PC but can not see a way to change the name in Avast! Pro (ver 2014.9.0…)
Is this possible with out deleting and reinstalling the device. I was hoping Avast! Pro would be smart enough to see this change apon re-booting.
Any suggestions would be welcome. Anton.

Do you mean changing the name in My Devices>Avast account?

You can do that by choosing the correct account from my devices and going into the settings of it.

Thanks for your reply. The problem is that since changing the computer name the old name shows as a device not the new one. So it makes me wonder if you have to delete the device and then re-register the new name as if its a new PC.

Just delete the device from My Devices and readd it.
