changes in admin.ini

hello!

i have made a change in the admin.in (still installation-file).
how i can spread the changes to all the clients who has installed avast-professional?

netlogon seems a good idea. but which files. on client-side there isnt admin.ini.

an re-install. seems a bad idea. too much pc`s.

any idea?

  1. In case of avast Pro, admin.ini can only be used for Silent Installation. Not after the program is already installed.

  2. Have you considered using the ADNM? It’s much better suited for network deployments…

:slight_smile: yes i know it is for a silent installation!

but if have much client installations and we USE the mirror-tool.

it runs great, for us.

now, i must change the default behaviour if the scanner finds a virus.
my hope is, i change a file maybe (admin.ini/avast4.ini) and spread it over the netlogon function
to all clients. okay, admin.ini is for new installations.

we dont have an ms-server (like 2k3 server or so) for your network-avast tool. :wink:

i will try to make the changes in the avast4.ini and spread it about the netlogon for my Win9X clients. :slight_smile:
