Changing colour of forward and backward buttons in FireFox 3

I installed FireFox 3 on two different computers. Please see attached 1.jpg file. On one computer these buttons i.e. forward and backward buttons have green colour and on the other they have blue. Both have the default theme.

How can I change the colour of these buttons?

Hmmm… if they’re using the same theme, most probably this is due to graphical card resolution and drivers. It’s normal that green and blue and gray vary from computer to computer…

This could also be due to different monitors and the settings of each monitor.

Goin by the screenshot it looks like U usin Vista.

Is one PC runnin XP & the other Vista?

If i rem right the default FF there on vista has the blue buttons while the default FF theme on XP has green buttons.

U can get themes at the mozilla addon site that will give U the vista look on XP (ie the blue buttons) it called vista on XP, if U prefer the green buttons then look for XP on vista.

Yes one pc was running vista and the other xp. Thanx, your suggestion fixed the problem. However, I find the address bar is still different on both the machines.

See the attached please. What can I do to make both of them round or square?

Glad U got it sorted.

If U want the back button to be round & slightly bigger than the forward button then right click the reload page button & & look in the toolbar properties menu, if small icons is ticked untick it.

My settings for that toolbar is icons only & show in full screen mode.

As for the address bar i not really sure, vista might make it look like that.

There was an old extension for Firefox 2 to round the address bar…
