Changing primary e-mail

I note that I can add another e-mail to my account under ‘Manage e-mails’ but what about changing one’s PRIMARY e-mail. there is no way of doing this that I can see…

You can change it there.

Thanks for your response but I have already been on that page and into ‘Manage Emails’. There it shows your verified address and the option to add another e-mail, but it does not give any indication on how to change the primary verified e-mail address. If you know the procedure I would appreciate an idiot’s guide to follow! Thanks in anticipation…

Add the new email and set it as primary.

Thanks for your reply but I have already added another e-mail. The dialog box in ‘Manage emails’ only shows the primary address and the option to add another e-mail; there is no actual pointer on how to make the added address the primary one… Again, if you or anyone knows how to do this please help as I am changing my server soon and need to get this issue sorted out. Thank-you…

Looks like you haven’t yet added the second email.
Take a look at the attached screenshot on how my account looks like.

Thanks for that screenshot… I see now that I don’t have the hyper buttons in my dialog box that I see in yours. So what I did was to insert a different e-mail and after verifying this I saw that those buttons had appeared in the dialog box. I have now changed my primary e-mail. Thanks again for that screenshot…

Hi Moroni,

I am having a problem with all this. After doing all that you said. I press the button of the new email added, for it to be set as primary,
but it keeps going the little waitting dynamic icon (like a saving icon) and it never ends going round, hence I never get to get the new
email, set as primary.

You know by chance what is happening?

I am glad that this discussion is here because who would have thought that to make another email my primary email I had to have not 2 but 3 emails listed. >:(
Not the most brilliantly thought through process.
