I am new to Avast and have my Scan set for each morning at 9:00a.m which is a full scan. This takes some time to complete and I’d like to change it to quick scan but am unable to do so.
Might someone be so kind as to help me with this?

Hi leeflea, you shouldn’t have to set scan’s that often, once a week for a full scan would be fine but if you really want to go to scan computer/quick scan/settings/scheduling, dont forget to untick the full scan scheduling 
I prefer to do a boot time scan each time a new major release of avast! comes out.
Outside of that, I rely on avast!'s on access scans.
I run a quick scan, scheduled, while I’m lunching. No more. avast resident does its job
