I have just joined this forum, but am unable to access my profile to make changes. When I log in to the main forum page, my user name shows at the top of the screen, but when I press the profile button the user name changes to ‘Guest’ and access to my profile is denied.
[Correction: originally stated other pages were affected as well. However, this is not the case. User profile page is the only one that causes the user name to change to ‘Guest’ and deny access.]

I’m using Sygate Personal firewall and Proxomitron (bypassing Proxomitron on this site makes no difference)
After coming back to the site later, I was able to log on and access my user profile without any problems. I don’t know what caused this glitch, but I hadn’t changed any Internet settings between my two visits.
I have just installed the Avast antivirus today. If I have any questions, I’ll return to the Forum.
I am a newbie.
I don’t understand how to revise my profile.
cuz’ i found out many people put their photo and set some information.
However, I can’t do this.
I was wondering that it is just because I am a newbie, so i don’t have that kind of authority to change.
There is only a limited amount that you can do with your profile until you have 20 posts. This was implemented because of spammers who would create an account just to spam the the forums.
I have been to many forums.
I realize those protective policies to prevent hacker or spammer.
So I quite agree this kind of mediums to avoid some bad guy.
Thus,
I will struggle to post over 20.
And of course what I post will not be spam or junk.
I hope I have those additional authorities rather than of newbie ASAP.
