I renewed my Avast subscription on Thursday night after getting nag screens for several days. The Avast screen said renew for one year at $19.99…Not only was I charged $19.99 but I was also charged $39.99 from Nexway software. I submitted two “tickets” to Avast and have received NO reply or refund…Is this a SCAM???

What you have described, that definitely doesn’t sound right!
After submitting a ticket, patience is a virtue as I believe response can take a few days. This being a weekend, and Easter holidays it probably could take an extra time.
Submitting more tickets I don’t believe, speeds anything up, probably the opposite.

If you want the $39,99 back, you should contact Nexway.
Why, the purchase is from Avast!, they are responsible. The contract lies firmly with them.
Best to use PayPal or a credit card, then you can make them sort the problem out.

You go back to the supermarket, not to the one who grew the fruit.

You need to go back to the one who sold it.
