paid for avast professional money remitted and the license code is still not received

Did you check your spam folder? If so, submit a ticket: https://support.avast.com/support/home
It would not surprise me if the OP has made a typing error in the supplied email address.
The payment method used might take longer to process. Example, if you use a Bank Transfer, the funds can take 3-5 days to clear.
DavidR is correct and it took me nearly 4 days for me to get my license for my Avast Internet Security, until my payment is approved and cleared first before you get your paid license from Avast.
It would be nice to know how and when the OP purchased their license.
