after updating your VDF-files of avast - no matter which appilcation of avast - you should check the property of date in concerning
VDF-file … if date is set correct - if not, then better dont perform a malware-check - instead wait for next correct VDF-update …
this is not only concerning avast but also too anti-malware-programs of other companies.
