In the check the connection tab in AMS it says that it can’t send a test text to my phone is this anything to worry about and if so how do I fix it?

what android version are you using?
maybe your phone uses an older android version which doesn’t support google cloud to device messaging.
have you tried with your phone’s internet connection (=turn off Wifi)
I am using android version 2.3.5, the phone’s connection is what I had been using to connect. The connection is fine as that is not the problem the only problem was the test text which I am a bit confused about.
