Chest does not allow to restore false positive Trojan, please HELP!

Hello all! It’s been two days since I’ve migrated from CA antivirus to Avast. I was performing a full system scan, and since we’re in a home network, I included my husband’s files. I’m a Translator and he’s a Systems Developer.

I’m usually a very cautious Internet user. My browser is Firefox, I use WOT, and basically I work and use Vuze and Last.fm.

Due to his profession, my husband sometimes ventures into the “dark side” of the Internet. And it has a price, sometimes. But this time, what Avast caught apparently is a false positive, because it’s one of the programs he uses to work, and he’s royally pissed off at me for the fuck-up.

The thing is, the Chest won’t let me restore the file.

I’ve made a screenshot of the properties of the program that is causing me this headache, so that you who are more acquainted (and wiser) with Avast, and are here much longer than me, may take a look and maybe find a solution to my domestic problem. It’s messing with his work and it wasn’t a good start for Avast here in our household. :-[

PS: I hope I’m not breaking any site rules, but I couldn’t make the Icon “insert image” work. If I did something wrong, can any Moderator contact me so that we can correct this?

PPS: I still REALLY need help with this one!!!

Thanks in advance.

Indeed keygens detection won’t be corrected, or, better, aren’t a priority of a company as Alwil…
You need to use the Exclusion lists:

For the Standard Shield provider (on-access scanning):
Left click the ‘a’ blue icon, click on the provider icon at left and then Customize.
Go to Advanced tab and click on Add button…

For the other providers (on-demand scanning such as the screen-saver or the Simple User Interface):
Right click the ‘a’ blue icon, click Program Settings.
Go to Exclusions tab and click on Add button…

You can use wildcards like * and ?.
But be careful, you should ‘exclude’ that many files that let your system in danger.
