OK i have two things in my virus chest and i was wondering if i should just keep them in the chest or try and delete them using the delete to in the chest?? thanks allot for any info…
Chest is safe. Viruses can’t go out from it.
You can let the files there for a week, or two.
Open the Chest, right click the files and test again if they’re infected. This can avoid false positives.
If they’re infected, and your computer is functioning normally without them, then delete the files 
If these two files are under the heading “System files” then they are backup copies that avast is deliberately keeping in the chest and you should leave them alone.
If they are under the heading “Infected files” then proceed as advised by Tech.
