Repair Avast:
Open the Avast User Interface > Menu > Settings > Troubleshooting > Repair App. > Restart the Computer or,

can you try to type chrome://crashes/ into chrome url bar. If Crash reporting is disabled than enable it an than you will be able to see chrome crashes.
Dumps are usually collected into folder : %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data
Try to find *.dmp files
