Chrome URL:Mal problem?

Any time I type in the chrome URL bar to use it to search google, I get a “Threat Detected” message with the url being “https://play.google.com/”. Should I be worried? I ran a scan and it came up as clean.

That’s weird, about 20 minutes ago I also got a virus warning with the same “https://play.google.com/” address. I also just made a thread about it here…

it’s a false positive, all the google issues should be resolved soon and appeared to be an error that came with the latest update

Me and a friend had the same issue happen at the same time, also about 20 minutes ago. The pop up will show up every few minutes, but scans indicate I have no issues.

I just got the same warning again. First time was at exactly 5:30 am, and now at exactly 6 am. Seems to happen every half hour…

I think I am having the same problem, I went on chrome and I kept getting this pop ups that read Infection blocked! Avast Web Shield has blocked a threat. Infection: URL: Mal URL: http://play.google.com/log?format=json Process: /Applications/Google Chrome.app/Contents/MacOS/Google Chrome

Should I be concerned? The earlier posts make it sound like we just have to wait until Google updates. Is that right? Is anyone else running still running into this problem?

Most likely your browser is full of crap that need to be removed
