Clean uninstall

I have XP Professional and Avast 4 loaded.

I want to uninstall avast but do not have an uninstall in my control panel for avast nor does avast have a uninstall program.

Any help is appreciated.

If you want a clean uninstall of Avast then please go HERE to get the Avast un-install tool. That should take care of your problem.

Oh, you don’t install avast! correctly… something happened…
Do you have any other antivirus installed in your computer?
avast! should be at Control Panel… Did you boot after installing it?

The default folder for the home and pro version is the same - C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4.

How did you install the Pro version, I believe that since they would both be installed in the same folder the installation of the pro version superseded the home version, removing uninstall for home as you would be uninstalling much of the pro version as it would be in the same folder.

Do you have an uninstall for the Pro version?
