Clean up utility lacking

Is there a link or pdf that shows which folders to delete to get a clean reinstall for 4.8. The clean up tool left everything in the registry. Thanks

Then delete the awil folder in the registry when you had uninstalled it if you want :slight_smile:

Hi :slight_smile:

First… I uninstalled Avast 4.8 the normal way ( Vista - Programs and Features )
Then… I ran the Avast Uninstall Utility from safe mode.

Did still find a Alwil Folder in Program Files :o
However!
I didn’t find a single trace of Avast/Alwil left in the registry.
Was Quite Amazed! 8)

I remember it used to take me about 3 days to hunt down and kill Norton ;D
