Cleanup deleted a temp file, is it recoverable inside the avast platform in anyway? It is gone everywhere else. We have tried onedrive, icloud, etc etc, the hardrive, etc. Taxes I worked on for many hrs, somebody help!
First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member. And I don’t use Cleanup, so I can’t speak from personal experience.
As far as I’m aware, Avast doesn’t stash it anywhere, there wouldn’t be much point in running cleanup if it didn’t actually clean up.
Unless you have done a recent local backup (I do regular backups to an external SSD drive), that is I fear the only solution. It would only be in OneDrive or icloud if you had previously used those backup options.
