Clicked on phishing website

Hey, I must have spaced out for 10 seconds as I stupidly clicked on a link to a phishing website. I received an email which claimed to be from HMRC and said I was due a tax rebate. After clicking the link it opened up my browser but a website never did load, it looked as though it was trying but I suddenly realised what I was doing & quickly closed the browser. I did a scan with avast which picked nothing up, I checked my browser history and it didn’t list that I’d ever been to this particular website. Does this sound like I’ll be okay or is there anything else to worry about?

Thanks

If you want your system being checked, follow the instructions in the sticky at the top of this webboard.

Probably a known pish url that is taken down

When you are really paranoid, change your log-in credentials that were stored in your browser,
or that of your browser account.
I lately saw a check for 52.229.30.216 a now obsolete Microsoft azure.net app.
You should check what log-in history you have in the log-in box.

When you have a script- and ad-blocker you often have nothing to fear, also with avast Webshield installed,
they have phishing sites covered
