Release notes, anyone?

I would think the UI changes would be worth describing, as well as the new Smart Scan option.
There appears to be a few UI changes as well. I don’t understand the reasoning for not informing us by providing proper release notes. For one, there is now a notification badge on the icon when any messages are available. This includes a new notification badge after every scan. Can we turn this off?
We were waiting a long time for this release to finally fix the popup after every quick scan saying the scan was stuck at 99%. Although this appears to have been fixed, we are still getting popup notifications after every quick scan…even when it finishes successfully without finding anything. Is there any way to turn this off completely either in the console or the client?
