Cloud... now its working, now its not.....

I was keeping an eye on the cloud services and i noticed that the file rep and the streaming updates kept getting disconnected. one minute they were connected the next minute i can see connection not established. I am receiving streaming updates without a problem. Im more worred about the file rep. I also wanted to add that the streaming animation from the cloud to the computer and city in cloud services stop when it says connection not established. so im guessing the file rep doesnt work. My question is If i run a new executable when avast says connection not established will avast skip checking the file in file rep???

Hmmmmmmmmm… im guessing no one knows the answer to my question…

I checked the connection by running an update so my internet is working but connection of cloud is not established

Now here it is a minute later…connection established…this keeps happening and i fell like im not being protected by the filerep

There is always the possibility that it is not connected because it does not need to be at the moment, to lighten the load on servers.

There is maybe a way to check if File Rep will work…go into the autosandbox settings and uncheck every option under “Reason for Autosandboxing” except for one, leave “file prevalence/reputation is low” ON. Then run some odd obscure executable/s, see if you can get the autosandbox to trigger even if Cloud says Off, or if all of a sudden it connects when a check needs to be made.

edit: and don’t forget to change those setting back when you are finished.

I’ve noticed ver 7.0.1426 being not connected to the cloud more and more. Like the first couple of betas. When 1426 came out it was almost always connected, but this is changing for some reason. More people using the connection as more upgrade to ver7?
