I’m seeing numerous webpages blocked (on multiple PCs) by Avast! with a message that the SSL cert is invalid on Cloudflare numeric subdomains. I presume therefore that zillions of other folk are seeing the same thing, but so far I’m not seeing any mention on fora or google, which is surprising. Is this some weird problem specific to my PCs, or a cockup by Cloudflare, or is it a problem with how Avast interprets Cloudflare’s certs?
After midnight here, and I’m about to go to bed.
There have been numerous of these reports in the forums - some related to XP not having the means of checking the newer security certificates and many related to ssl certificates given to dubious sites.
I suggest you browse or search the viruses and worms forum for cloudflare and you should see what I mean.
It is a fact that the cloudfare certificates are not really trusted/reliable.
There are post on this webboard by avast employees that explain/tell more about it.
Please search and read them.
what operating system are you using?? did you try updating to the latest avast version?
