Clspring-pkg + JS:NoCheat-2

Avast has picked up two viruses that I am unable to delete or repair.

Win32:Clspring-pkg [Trj] which is found at C:\RESTORE\TEMP\WINSERVN.O

and

JS:NoCheat-2 which is found at C:\RESTORE\ARCHIVE\BKUPVXDLASTLOG.49

I tried running Avast in safe mode and it still does not allow me to acess those files. I also ran AdAware and Spybot in both normal and safe mose and neither picks them up.

Suggestions? Thanks in advance

To delete those file, you have to disable the system restore. Try to search this forum… there are number of post on the topic (e.g. here).

Thanks Igor,

After disabling Syst Restore, the virus files disappeared. Avast did not pick them up again in either safe or normal mode. SShould I be worried?

No, you shouldn’t. When you disabled the system restore, the “restore directory” was cleared (by the operating system).
