CNET, Get your act together.

For a large outfit, someone sure missed the boat.
The bad: I’d like to know why a FREE registration is a bad thing ???

Don’t they know that you can’t BUY the Home Edition ???

Sending us to ebay still won’t get you a legitimate Home Edition to buy. ???

The product is available NOW I don’t have to email any one… ???

Hopefully Alwil didn’t have to pay for this listing and review…

The review itself isn’t the greatest but they did get one thing right:

In general, we were pleased with both editions and think the Home edition is better than AVG Anti-virus 7.5.

It would be nice if before printing a review, these companies got all their facts straight. :frowning:

In the very beginning, I consider CNET as a reliable source of information.
As time goes by, I see they move themselves almost only by money and add.
There are too many sponsors that the site is not independent any more, far from this.
I think, now, info from CNET is not completely reliable and I do not recommend their reviews anymore.
Just my personal opinion to share to our avast brothers and sisters…

omg…what a review…before writing a review for a product,u should know some things about the product…and CNET seems not to follow this belief…i dont lilke its review…and as bob mentioned,i cant understand y a free registeration is a bad thing…the product is free and very very effective…a free registeration every year is nothing…anyway…CNET dissapoints me…

Agreed. As a news source, they’re accurate, fast, and overall, pretty good.

Reviews now are marginal at best.

Bob,

I wouldn’t worry to much about Cnet Editior’s mate cause they have been a pain in the arse for nearly 10 years from there website, main problem these pain in the arse Cnet Editior’s cannot learn from the real Avast people like us and we Avast people loved the product.

Do I see anybody the Avast people still complaining about the Avast product ??? ??? ??? ???, cause we do have an Avast forum to help them solved their problems beside these Cnet Editior’s are pain in the arse never looked at the Avast forum website.

I stick my hand out to the Cnet Editior’s and say read between the lines ( my BIG middle finger sunny boy)
