I am constantly getting warnings about news items from CNN.com – that the message contains “suspicious white space”.
I assume the concern is valid, but how can I tell avast “CNN mail is always OK”?
Is there a white list for this?
Regards,
Chuck Billow
No, there isn’t a white list for this, unfortunatelly.
You can manage the Heuristic modules of the Internet Mail Provider or MS Outlook plugin (depending on which is your email program).
Just uncheck the suspicious white space checking or set a higher number into the allowed setting.

Where is the “suspicious whites pace” setting?

Tech said where to look.
You can manage the Heuristic modules of the Internet Mail Provider or MS Outlook plugin (depending on which is your email program).
Either disable the check (not advised) or increase the number of spaces to say 10 and see if that resolves it with having to disable the check.

David:
Fabulous, thanks…
I tried just doubling the whites pace length for right now, since I really am not sure what the heck I’m doing, cept a little trial and error…
I just added to this post… adding the included pic… can I add websites here that are “safe” (*avast.com )?
Chuck
You can add it into the ‘permited URLs’ but it works only for the iFrame checking. More info in help file
