Com.avast.daemon 98% cpu usage

Hello,

This has really being hammering my system performance. Also drove CPU temps up even with what I thought was nothing running.

OSX 10.11.6

Avast 12.0

Disabled file system shield as some other threads here have indicated, and all(including cpu temps) are back to normal.

Hope that this can be fixed?

As the fileshield seems to be causing it, check if/what it is scanning when cpu usage goes up.
