Tried to download Combofix, had to turn off Avast to download.

Happens with all these specialised malware removal tools evrytime they are updated, and it is not only avast
it is also mentioned in the instructions posted by the removal experts…

You can use mail
send to virus@avast.com in a password protected zip file
mail subject: False Positive / undetected sample (select subject according to your case)
zip password: infected
or you can send files from avast chest

ComboFix is very often detected as a false positive, but I think that submitting it for the vendors is pointless. This tool is updated very frequently (sometimes more that once daily) and after each update the story will go on…
May I ask why you have downloaded ComboFix? Any issues with malware?
