Because coming Monday is three days before Thanksgiving, according to the security experts of PC Tools, that gazed the tea-leaves in their cups, this day would be a peak day in malware infections.
Why they thought so, you read here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2008/nov/17/malware-trojan-virus-peak
Is it because of a peak in online shopping, or is it just baloney?
I would think that “Black Friday” the day after Thanksgiving would make more sense because of
all of the bargains that become available.
The Monday after Thanksgiving would also make more sense since there will be many online bargains available.
Just my 2cents worth. ;D
