I am new to awast and are testing out the pro version.
I am currently running the demo version.

I am trying to use the Command line scanner, but can’t find it.
Shouldn’t it be called ashCmd.exe?

Yes. It is ashCmd.exe and it’s located into avast folder.
Help file describe all commands of it 8)

Thansk for q quick reply, but I think not.

It is not there, could it be that it will appear after I register Avast PRO?

I’m not sure… It should be there as you’re using the Trial version. But it’s possible.
Can you try to repair your installation?
Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > avast! antivirus > Remove
Then choose Repair function in the popup window.

The Pro version (even the trial) has this file; the Home version does not. Are you sure you installed the right version?

:-[ Shure, my fault, wrong version, after more than 10 years I still make mistakes… ::slight_smile:

Now I got the Command Line Scanner Working ;D
However, I need my software to interpret the log-file automatically.

Does a description of the log file from the Command Line Scanner exist?
