anybody know anything about these two… 8)
Vengine is similar to Scandoo and/or SiteAdvisor.
Shows a green border for safe sites when you mouse over their logo.
(It worked for a while and then something went wrong with the interface and I had to un-install it
in order to get back on the internet)
Haven’t re-installed it…
CommodoAntiSpam was actually pretty good but for me it was a duplication of other programs already on my computer.
Does it work with Maxthon?
I’ve used in the past but I did not test this… now SiteAdvisor does not work, Scandoo works with Maxthon, but SiteAdvisor lauches automatically while Scandoo needs to be ‘opened’ on-demmand… Am I wrong?
It works building a ‘white’ list of senders. The first time you receive an email from a particular sender you can add him/her to the whitelist.
It can send an autentication email to the sender too, I mean, a robot won’t ‘answer’ it and it won’t be added to your whitelist, although, a person that indeed sent a message to you should receive this autentication email back and get permition to send you messages.
Like for Bob, it’s a duplicate application. Worse, I want to say, it was very poor configurable… I don’t like tools that I can’t manage
Tech,
Check your PM.
Thanks Bob… 8)
Hi,
I use VE myself, the antispam I have had nothing but problems with, so I don’t use that, I will wait for a newer version to come out before I try it.
