Have recently recovered from virus

My browser has been Internet Explorer My computer runs 'XP"
As Chrome was downloaded on my computer and I didnt now what it was( great eh) it has remained unused until I started to get a bit more in âthe knowâ about what I have.
Have decided to use it, it is fast, and probably a lot going for it,
But I have noticed
that if I try to log into Avast it just takes forever to fully get the page open. I switched back to In/Ex, tonght and got in nice and fast.
I noticed on a forum in Chrome that someone has recently downloaded Avast and either Chrome or Avast not compatable
Also a site I use reguarly isnât compatable re using the tools /Smiley etc(HTML) on their thread reply now so that is a âChromeâ problem.
Any Ideas?
Has anyone else had similar deals with Chrome should I stay with In/ Ex,?
What is a âtried and True Browserâ is there one?
Am more than happy with Avast so thats not an issue.

âŚmay be switch to the beta or dev channel if you encounter issues with some sitesâŚbut that doesnât come from Avast >>> webshield 100% OK with Chrome (both av4 & 5beta).
