Completely unacceptable ticket waiting time 17 days!!

Hi
I raised ticket 17!! days ago and still no answer. It’s about refund as when I log’ed to my account 17 days ago there was no info that 1 of my license autoreneved weeks !? before license expiry date. More details inside the ticket.

It completely unacceptable waiting time and its shows how Avast is treating its customers. Email said that response will take 24h(and it should). I did some searching in forums/online and I can see that it’s not a uncommon problem. Some mods said that it can take 10 working days(way to long) for ticket to be answered and my its 17 day(which is more than 10 working). I’m very upset and disappointed witch Avast, but I’m willing to give you last chance. I give you 24h from now to resolve it or I will contact my bank for a refund and under UK law I will get no problems. It’s not a threat, but a last chance for you to fix it as my customer experience was/is awful.

And please don’t tell me that it take that much time (I seen some posts) as I work for a medium/big company and waiting time of 17 days is something which I didn’t think was possible(of course in the wrong meaning). If customer service can’t answer in timely manner about very important issue for paying customer you don’t deserve paying customers.

Ticket #112279

Thanks
Lukas

Reported to Moroni, wait for his reply.

Hi Asyn

Thanks for your reply and all your help. Situation seems to be resolved and I don’t mind to wait couple of days (hopefully it will arrive) of the refund/money…

…still it’s quite sad that you have to start complaining the forum to get what you should have in the first place… but as far as I’m concerned You:) and probably your supervisor did a good job and I appreciate that a lot.

Thanks a lot and keep up a good work
Lukas

Good to hear your ticket now has been handled and the problem has been solved.

Just as information :
before a auto-renewal takes place, you get 2 (or 3?) mails that it is about to happen.
If you don’t want it, you will have enough time to disable the auto-renewal.

Yes the email sadly still mentions 24H, although I (and others) have asked avast to change it. :frowning:
In reality avast is trying to handle tickets within 10 business days (=2 weeks).
This doesn’t mean it will take 10 business days.
It can be from 30 minutes to 10 business days.
Ofcourse it depends on how busy it is.
You’re not always the first one in the row at a gas station

No, it is not Asyn’s supervisor nor mine.
We do not work for avast, but are just like you users and we like and are trying to help others.
You can recognize people from avast on this webboard at the “Avast team” at their name.

You’re welcome.

Hi Eddy, good news, it has been changed now.

That is good news.

What took them so long… :frowning:
