The Avast Online Security extension is absolutely superb. Since I installed it I have not
had any adware or tracking cookies on my PC. It does a 100% job.
My default browser is Chrome using Windows 10 and I have installed this extension on my Opera and Firefox
secondary browsers.
My image shows how great it works in even blocking an analytics cookie from the Avast Forum.
All that looks OK, but this online security extension is not showing on my Avast Secure Browser
like it does on the other browsers. A Security Centre & Privacy is, but that is not the same.
All done, extension now added, but it came via a CHROME link. As I already have the extension on my Chrome,
I had ignored adding it to Chrome, but it added it to my Avast browser.
All OK now,
Perhaps that has more to do with the fact that Avast Secure Browser (ASB) is a stand alone product, you don’t have to have avast installed.
I find it a little strange that it wouldn’t come as a default (or make it easier to include) in the ASB. I don’t use ASB, so I can’t speak from personal experience.
But does it also check your search results and place the check marks, etc. as it did in the early versions. I think that is pretty helpful for many users.
IMO Avast should include this extension in the AV package as David R suggested.
It seems rather stupid to me to have a completely separate extension, which does
an excellent job so closely associated with the protection Avast already provides in their AV program.
If I go back to the subject from the beginning, it doesn’t seem that wittmann44’s problem is not having the AOS extension integrated into avast (I think it has it, and it’s enabled, since it’s present on some browsers)

... but does not appear on ASB ?
I could not find a download for this extension for my Avast Secure Browser.
