Hello.

Today while doing a tour of avast’s UI, I was pleasantly surprised by the component status indicating a total of 39 viruses blocked in the last 30 days (yikes!). Since this came out of nowhere, I’ve been looking for a way to check the logs of these blocks. I’ve tried My Avast, but it only lists the 5 last detections.

Is there a way to check where these came from? I’ve been looking everywhere.

Thank you. I managed to find it.

For whatever reason it was in

C:>programdata>alwil software>avast 5>report

I have no idea why, since I’m using avast 2014, but it’s there.

Where the log files are exactly depends on the os.
