Computer blue screen on login

Hi, I think I got a virus and now my computer keeps blue screening whenever I log in.

Any help is much appreciated, my logs below.

Thank you.

What driver/service is being referenced on the blue screen ?

You do need SP3 to be installed

Installed the service pack, and the blue screen hasn’t come back after logging in.

I don’t think the blue screen referenced anything, it just said it was dumping files and to turn off the computer. It didn’t even cover half the screen.

Should I scan again to get new logs, just in case?

Do you have any dumps in c:\windows\minidump ?

Yeah I’ve got a few, do you want me to attach them?

No they will not fit

Could you upload them to a file sharing site and post the sharing link https://www.mediafire.com/

Here you go.

OK there was one instance of avast self protect and the rest were igxpmp32.sys - which is your Intel display driver.

What is the make and model of your computer and I will see if there is a more stable driver

It’s a HP Compaq dc7700p Small Form.

OK your driver is available here http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=3232108&swItemId=vc_68806_1&swEnvOid=1093

Hi, thanks for the driver download link. I’ve installed it and things seem to be running smoother, although my computer is still choppy at times.

Was there anything else you wanted me to do?

No there was no apparent malware that I could see, it just appears to be the driver

Subject to no further problems

I will remove my tools now and give some recommendations, but, I would like you to run for 24 hours or so and come back if you have any problems

Now the best part of the day ----- Your log now appears clean

: Keep Java Updated :

WARNING: Java is the #1 exploited program at this time. The Department of Homeland Security recommends that computer users disable Java
See this article

I would recommend that you completely uninstall Java unless you need it to run an important software.
In that instance I would recommend that you disable Java in your browsers until you need it for that software and then enable it. (See How to diasble Java in your web browser and How to unplug Java from the browser)

If you do need to keep Java then download JavaRa
Run the programme and select Remove Java Runtime. Uninstall all versions of Java present
Once done then run it again and select Update Java runtime > Download and install Latest version

click the very large Download button.
click Save
Click Open folder
Right click on the Unchecky_setup and choose to Run as Administrator
Once open click the Install button.
Then click on Finish
Unchecky is now installed and will help you keep unwanted check boxes unchecked, this is a fire and forget programme

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system and to keep them updated.
