That’s the other thing…I bought my computer in 9/08 as a refurb tower. They had a license to load XP on it but I didn’t get any rescue or boot discs with it. My son might have something like that and I can ck with him by phone tomorrow. I’m trying to avoid the expense of taking it into the computer store but may not be able to. I’m hoping that the hardware wasn’t somehow damaged or XP. I’m going to sign off for tonight and will come back on tomorrow prob. about 1pm EST. Thanks again for your help!
