I know it’s not helping much, but at least you’ll find direct answers from Alwil team and you’ll find out what to do next. I guess, you’ll have to send some Mini Dump files to Vlk (Ondrej)
Well, that’s good, but have you read everything Vlk said in that thread ? The part regarding Mini Dumps ? That way they can find out what could be causing the problem, and that way find possible solution…
See here what he said:
Alternatively, it could be a collision with another program running on your machine.
Anyway, without the dumps, it’s really very hard to say.
As per your request, minidumps sent. The last problems I had
pointed at faulty memory, that’s why I was reluctant to go there,
been there done that etc. memory is good.
Thanks for those files, but it shows there’re problems with freeing/copying memory… >:(
Is it possible to run a computer only with one memory, then if BSOD appears, switch to the other one, and so on ? I think, it’s hardware problem…
PK: The files that showed memory problems were OLD files.
The 2 latest ones I sent you, you said in email that one was garbled & unreadable,
the other showed a conflict with the firewall.
I have 3 more fresh minidumps if you wish to peruse them.
Memory has been tested & retested & retested, in both machines,
Microsoft memory test, AND the memory test you guys recommended.
Everything comes up with no faults.
