Computer's behaving a little slow

Back here after an year or so!
For some days,my pc is booting really slow and the internet also seems to be slow.The mouse clicking also seems to be slow.Avast and MBAM scans did not find anything.Any suggestions?

have you tried house cleaning?

Piriform http://www.piriform.com/ OBS: watch the installer and un tic if you dont want the toolbar

If you suspect Malware, see the guide here and attach (not copy and paste) Malwarebytes / OTL / aswMBR logs

Malwarebytes was not updated when you did the scan…always hit the update button before you start a scan :wink:
no need to attach new log unless it detect something

The malware removers are notified and will check your logs when they arrive…may take several hours

I can see no signs of any malware

It might be worth reducing some of the startup items or it could just be XP showing its age I am afraid…

When I had XP I used to reinstall every year or so just to keep it running properly

Oh,but thanks for your time.I’m also thinking to switch to Windows 7 or 8 this year,but my stone age PC would not let me do this :frowning:
