I have been having a problem in downloading the current daily up-dates that I download via the link: http://files.avast.com/ivps9x/vpsupd.exe. (vpsupd.exe - file size 113,884KB version 20180321-2)
Each time, since 2018/03/21, I keep receiving the same file (name and version) each time I download from this link.
Kindly confirm if this link is still valid? If no longer valid, can someone please help with the correct link to use? Thanx
@Asyn, thanx for providing the link. My internet connection is a bit slow to this link. It takes roughly 20 to 30 mins to download the 137MB file, depending how busy the site is, sometime a bit longer. Sad but true.
When I use a download accelerator program / manager (DAP or DAM) to speed the download up a bit, it normally takes about 8 to 10 minutes via the DAP / DAM program.
The link that you provided does nothing in the DAP / DAM program as it is the main inrto page, but going in via the browser, I find a link that leads me (https://install.avcdn.net/vpsnitro/vpsupd.exe) I still have to enter this newer link as a test, into the DAP /DAM program to determine on which of the 2 programs it will work
OK so I can confirm that the link that I found DOES NOT work via either DAP / DAM programs. I get an error message Problem connecting. The underlying connection was closed. An expected error occurred on a send.
Guess it will have to be the long method then, if I want to continue using the Avast program.
