While I don’t remember the exact wording, just got a pop-up similar to the ones that appear when it’s time to renew your Avast registration, asking me to confirm my version of Avast. The two options were “free” and “pro”, both showing the kind of protection they offered in their respective columns. I have never gotten one of these, at least not out of season, so just wondering if this is normal. Thanks in advance.
If you have just re-registered or updated the program, I have seen this popup seeking confirmation on what protection you want. This is a recent addition.
It is marketing hoping you will try one of the paid options of avast.
