Thanks for reporting it, its appreciated, though how do i still get my license or a refund, i have purchased the product and can not contact them because of their automated system…

Still no email address to contact… I don’t want to give out my phone number, i don’t need to speak to someone personally to handle a simple matter of looking and verifying a product that has been paid for and still not activated…

This site link above is also claiming it has nothing to do with avast… I still believed it was apart of avast at the time i goggled avast email support. This is becoming ridiculous.

Well it looks like i spoke to soon. avast has not activated my subscription for two years for three computers and it seems to take the wrong name that the subscription has been paid for…
Could i please get an email address so that i can contact support and get this mess solved once and for all?

even if the problem seemed to be resolved on the 31st, your original message could always help others …and only those who have followed this topic from the beginning know what about and will help you.
Besides,as far I’m concerned I can not understand why the contact link does not work for you.

The contact links works to a phone number, it has +61 which is for ringing to australia, not for ringing outside of australia.
I must apologize though i have to admit, this has to be the most difficult, the most painful and bad kind of customer service i have come across.
What i am saying is that i only got one chance to submit a request into a page, i can not find that page to write and explain what happened…
I can not understand why avast does not have any email support to make it easy for customers to resolve issues,
This is not a simple program problem. it is $100 i paid for 2 years subscription and no support…
I have lost count of how many times i have asked for an email address so i dont have to bother people on this forum…

The reason i took down some previous posts was because i feel that the whole world does not need to know my problem or my details, if i could i would have actually deleted this threat , because it is an inquiry about a product that has been bought and paid for and not delivered properly.

Please just give me an email address to contact avast support so i can sort it out with them… unless i am going blind and someone has either posted it already or it is on the website that is related to such small writing that i never noticed it… .

No, I did not go to the end because I have nothing to ask for but others have managed to do it and did not reported issue ???
Tell you that the return to Support data base of forum is done after pressing the button “submit the request” as on my screenshot (in French) ?

As you can see in the link, it is contact and sales/other problem. Avast has not recognized my payment to them via BPay, they need to know that there might have been a mistake in the number i used for a reference to them as they gave me more than one order number yet did not explain clearly which order number to use while paying through BPay…

This is why a simple email address would suffice … no one here can really do anything about it … only avast staff…

Sorry, though i prefer not to ring overseas/internationally or to a 3rd party company that pretends to act as avast even though it claims not to be avast…

Where is avast staff? shouldn’t they monitor these forums as well? is that not what these forums are for, to help?
The only reason I used BPay instead of Paypal, is because i do not like automatic renewal systems, I believe if you want to have auto renewal that you should have that option to pick it when you are on the Paypal website, not have to go through the extra hassles of going to avast to make a request to them to stop auto renewal services…

As a customer i want the most easiest and simplest way to purchase something. along with the obvious support that seems to be more confusing than helpful…

This is the second weekend since i posted and i have not seen nor heard from avast staff of any kind or had an email posted… what kind of company makes it hard for their customers to contact them? to top it off, avast makes a program with an uninstall program that cant uninstall it, yet you have to go into safe mode? …

Where is the avast staff? They are the people i want to speak to, to contact about this problem…
It is becoming frustrating, so much so, that i am thinking on just asking for a refund and going somewhere else. :

If i have to, I would even consider reporting them to the department of fair trading in New South Wales Australia…

If you’re using the free version you either need to rely on this forum or use the fact section of Avast.
Apparently you aren’t aware that parts of a program that are in use can’t be removed unless you go into safe mode.
It isn’t unusual or strange.

I ended up being able to contact support this morning my time, i ended up getting a reply to pay for the item via BPay, i replied to their email explaining I did pay for it"

I also understand that avast uses system files, though i dont see how that would stop avast from being uninstalled the conventional way and rebooting once the changes are made… anyway. that was here nor there…

This product was paid for on the 26th of oct… thats when the transaction was processed …

They need to look for the payment as the wrong order number they supplied might have been put in for a reference code when paying for it via BPay… All i am doing is waiting for the license and this is the kind of customer service i get from them?? Sorry, though this sort of thing should have been handled instantly …
