Connect with Avast Account

Hi folks,

I have a three user license for AIS. Just recently (this weekend) I took the time to “connect” the pc’s so that I can view stats online in the web portal. However, I have a slight problem.

All three machines are in different locations (so maybe that is why this is happening). Basically, I can only “view” all three machines from one location. Coincidentally, its the location that I first connected to my Avast! account. So if I log on even from the other two machines where Avast! is installed, all I see is the machine that I first setup/connected. It also shows is as being offline (but its actually online).

Did I miss something? Or is this not the intended use of this feature? I would think that I should be able to login from anywhere to get an snapshot of all three machines.

Please advise.

Do the other two systems report being connected/linked to the avast account (avastUI, Summary screen) ?

Yes that sure do. That is the strange thing.

I’m having trouble actually connecting right now, so I can’t even check out my own. I don’t know if this inability to connect is an indication of other issues.

i dunno if it is related, but a few days ago (the previous weekend), all my devices were shown as offline.

they were back online since yesterday.

I’ve added a remote device more than once and it is never shown in “My devices”… What’s going on?
