connection problems (problemi di connessione)

Hi to all!!! I’m Italian, but i have a problem with avast! that i can’t resolving…
Now, I’m not good to translate in english and i will report my problem translated with power translator…

If there’s somebody that can speak me in italian, i would be very happy, please!!!

Into the firewall settings, the following programs should be allowed to connect:

C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashWebSv.exe (avast! Web Scanner)
C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashMaiSv.exe (avast! e-Mail Scanner Service)
C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\Setup\avast.setup (avast! Update executable)

Are you using Windows XP?

Yes, I’m using WinXP with the firewall of the Service Pack2…
I’ve not understand how allow these programs…

Control Panel > Windows Firewall > Exceptions > Programs and Services of avast must be allowed to connect.

Are you sure? It’s a firewall’s problem?

You can’t browse and you can’t download emails after installing avast.
The normal thing is firewall blocking avast to access the traffic and scans it 8)
