Connection problems

i hava msn and aim for instant messeging, set them both to automatically sign in when windows starts.
every time i turn my computer on, they sign on and then disconnect after a few seconds for some reason. Anybody know how to solve that problem?

another question, every time i try to send a file through aim, it just shows a messege saying that whoever i’m sending the file to is not a secure user, then i lose my connection too even though i have dsl. what’s happening? Replies much appreciated, thanks.

I have avast, win xp sp2, netveda firewall.
