I have 2 different internet connections dsl and cable.
On my cable i never get this message but with my dsl i am always getting avast internet connection time out for my yahoo instant messenger.
How do i stop that from happening? Is there a setting?

Does Yahoo IM uses the email ports? I mean, port 110 for instance?
If you add the line
IgnoreProcess=<yahoo_im.exe>
(changing everything after the equal sign to the correct name of the process) into avast4.ini file section [MailScanner].
