This is on a Windows 7 64-bit system. I installed the latest Avast 7 update recently and since then, my system loses task focus on -any- program or application that is open shortly after the system is booted. It seems to be right at about the 4-5 minute mark and the problem is consistent. If I’m typing in a program, that access stops and the window frame indicates something else loaded and took over task focus. The primary program I was running then behaves as though it’s now in the background and I can no longer type or manage the program again until I click on it’s window to restore task focus back to it. This did not happen before updating to Avast 7 and I would like to restore my system back to working properly without such an interruption. I don’t know what setting or function is doing this, so any guidance is appreciated.
