so i seem to have gotten hit with this consrv.dll stuff. at first i was hit by what i thought to be simple malware, quick fix, right? wrong. got rid of Win 7, only to have avg pull up some trojans later in the day. i have tried deleting/quarantining these files, but after reading up on some topics about it and how slow my laptop is right now, i realized it’s most likely not gone.
i’m not the most technologically intelligent person there is out there (well, at least not when it comes to this complicated stuff), so i apologize in advance if it takes me awhile to understand. how in the world do i get this horrible thing off my laptop?
Me & my boyfriend tried that earlier, but both kept bringing us back to startup repair. He’s thinking the only option is reinstalling windows 7 and wiping the hard drive. Any other options? ???
Bah humbug. Was supposed to get an external harddrive for christmas to back up my work documents on. Ha.
