Constant "URL:Mal" warnings

Ok so I just today started getting these URL:Mal warnings wherever I go, but mostly it happens on Youtube especially when I go to a video, then it usually gives me 4 at the same time. And if it’s any help, this all started right after I installed the newest Java version that supposedly was a safe one… Also, this problem has once already caused my computer to freeze to the point where I had to turn it off with the power button.

Please attach your logs. (AdwCleaner, MBAM, OTL and aswMBR…!!)

Hi,
Probably I’m having the same issue as Asyn, so I think there is no sense for me to open new discussion.
I have up to 4 messages like:

Infection Details
URL: http://stats.g.doubleclick.net/__utm.gif
Process: D:\Documents and Settings\11\Local Setti…
Infection: URL:Mal

or like
URL: http://www.googletagservices.com/tag/js/
Process: D:\Documents and Settings\11\Local Setti…
Infection: URL:Mal

Same problem here, error pops up at facebook, youtube, ask.fm and other sites, erorr: URL: Mal but my PC is clear and i don’t have viruses. Please update program or virus definitions.

… and some logs collected according to “Logs to assist in cleaning malware” from http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0

…and other logs.
it is really hard to fight with your anti-bot system. MBR.dat cannot be attached, more than 4 attachments cannot be added, hardcore captcha.
One need to have steel nerves to write here :frowning:

Could you update Avast definitions please

Avast definitions version: 130630-0
Date of publication: 2013-06-30 08:03:48
Received last update: 2013-06-30 13:42:13

Avast version: 8.0.1489

Still the same problems

I have the same Avast update as braczek8 posted and I don’t have new malware fornings since update. Hope it worked for me.

It appears to be a js file in the temp area

[*]It will close all programs when run, so make sure you have saved all your work before you begin.
[*]Click the Start button to begin the process. Depending on how often you clean temp files, execution time should be anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or two. Let it run uninterrupted to completion.
[*]Once it’s finished it should reboot your machine. If it does not, please manually reboot the machine yourself to ensure a complete clean.
