My subscription is good till January 2020. I just got billed for about $90 for the new Avast Product. I want a refund. I also want a refund for my clean sweep which was rebilled on October 30th.
I had no idea that I could not talk to an Avast rep. until I saw this double billing.
I got Kapersky two weeks ago to replace Avast. I got malware that was an insidious virus and Avast did not detect any of it. So I got a better service in Kapersky. I waited a few weeks to see if I liked Kapersky and I do. Now I want a refund for everything but it seems that from forum posts that people are not getting refund requests via Avasts refund portal on their website.
I paid with Paypal. I will contact paypal tomorrow on this issue and get it fixed. I hope PayPal notes my complaint of non support from Avast on billing issues. I hope Paypal will end their relationship with Avast from my complaint.
If someone really reads this and gives me a phone number to call ASAP, I will try to work with Avast. Otherwise, I will just be glad I can handle this issue via paypal.
